Just thought I would date myself. My first Kel-Tec product(s) were the P-10, a blind-magazine top-loader blow-back, polymer-frame DAO chambered for .380 ~ reloading was really slow, so I bought a second pistol for a "New York Reload"... Being an unlocked breach, they are kinda hefty so carrying them meant one in each jacket pocket to keep the total weight balanced... Never needed to draw either one, which I have always thought was a good thing. But I always felt better for having them...

It was George's first commercial success, back when the company name was Grendel, Inc. The pistols were 10 round capacity in a double-stack variety. Springs have never failed, and they operate just as surely today as they did when new. And I feel really old when I count the years since the pistols were new.

That is a neat pair to have! I have not seen one of those in a LONG time. I still have never seen the follow on P-12, but I always look when at gun shows. The P-12 was basically the same 380 gun but with a removable 12 round magazine. I don’t think they made very many before it got the caliber bump and evolved into the Kel-Tec P-11.

I've got a Grendel P10, an interesting gun for sure. It can be loaded with stripper clips.
