Fortunately you don't have to drill anything. The long side is machined with a groove that fits the perfect width of the metal sling mount. The tiny side does two, and you just screw two small screws to make them clasp onto the little sling mount loop. This way it stays in place when pumping the action.

Hmm. I’m going to have to look closer. Tbh, I just picked it up this afternoon. Unboxed it and tossed it Into the safe.

I spent about 1 minute looking at it and trying to see what and where and trying to figure out how.

Single point sling, EOTech, and a light... and fore end grip hand stop. That’s about it. Maybe a Longer mag switch lever...

what I choose.
beast muzzle cover. a good mlok pic rail glued in place with locktight treads. and a bottom 90.

mounting a 45 like the "Hi-Tech" will ensure you slam your fingers. (done it).

stay simple. dragging wires during the slide is a no go. hanging 90's tech flashlights 9' off your lines is also a no go.

in all honesty. why do you need a light? if you want to see inside your dark house get a simple green laser. a green laser will project ample light and not kill your night vision.

eventually if I ever get my lazy azz to maching these new parts. I have a LED hand grip/slide I intend to do using hot cree LED projectors, machined into a alum grip. but I am busy mentally with work and fighting other battles with product thieves on My park benches... it's like the marbel quarry claiming they own David by Michelangelo because Michelangelo got the materials from them. and because it was their block that david was inside of; so it was they who created it... anyway... soon I will get these ksg parts made for testing. I think everyone may think differently after I show them publicly. and before then I can't show you guys...

there just might also be a new style muzzle cover like the beast with all the goodies built right into the end of the gun. =D. but I can't show that yet either.
it will solve the light and laser issue with out really adding anything to the overall end of the weapon profile.

there is a reason for this picture. ;)

This is a thread that’s going to take some study for me. I originally had the idea of a vertical grip mount. Simply because there are not a lot of light location options... as the weapon comes stock.

I plan on an Eotech up top, and the grip light....

I see a lot of you have side rails. How are these attached? There is no factory holes that can be threaded so do you drill and run the screw threaded into the he plastic fore end?

I could never rely on that as a working gun. But since it’s a home only gun I guess it wouldn’t be an issue. Unlikely to get banged around that much.

anyways, the vertical grip light seems the best option for me, but if I’m wrong about the side rail attachment, and someone could fill me in, a thumb switch light like a couple posts up would be nice. Keeping things a little smaller with out so many things to catch on stuff.
Hi Fifty - I emailed you the other day about the shotlocker. I saw this post and figured I'd send a picture of my setup. Mine may be a bit overkill for the house, but I do live in a rural area as well, so the EOtech laser and HL light mounted on top is handy for Coyotes at night. I did have to add a riser to the EOtech to clear the Streamlight from my sight picture.

This is something for my TLR-1 that I cobbled together out of bits I had in my parts box. The 90 Degree KSG MK II Light Mount (PAF).

I wanted a 90 degree light mount that dropped the light closer to the bore on the right hand side and I did not like the HighTech side rail option at all, same with the 45 degree mounting option.

I even toyed with the notion of heating and bending a 45 degree mount but it did not give me the drop I needed.

It's half again lighter than the first one (MK-I) I made but still needs to be refined some. It serves me very well as is.

I have the KSG25. I didn't put a light on it because I have a shorter shotgun for HD, which I do have a light on. Nothing fancy. Got it off Amazon for like $50. It has been problem free. Hundreds of rounds haven't detrimentally affected the forend mounted light and pressure switch. Feyachi FL-11
