Lefty here too, does that Kydex have any give/flex to it since it's thin or is it really stiff like they usually are?
I would think it would be more comfortable if it could bend/flex a little in a front pocket.

I paid too much for my Sticky ($26) but I did a solid for my favorite LGS so I figure I gave him a $10 tip. The Alabama holster looks good, but I doubt I would like it twice as much for more than twice the price. The Sticky stays sticky for the more than the two years I have had it in my pocket, not to the touch, but how it stays in place in your pocket. Like I said earlier, I use the thumb push to draw with it.

I also have an Allen size 12 for my S&W Bodyguard 380 with laser. I paid less than $10 for it and I like it as much as my Sticky. From the picture on Alabama Holster site, I think the Alabama would show the trigger indention through any fairly tight pants pocket and the Allen and Sticky definitely don't.

I always liked the Elite Survival Systems pocket holster when I carried the P-32, P3AT and now with the SIG P365. Soft nylon on the inside to baby the guns surface and make for a smooth draw. Pebbled rubber outside to keep the holster from coming out of the pocket during a draw. The leather looks nicer, but the Elite works better. And best of all, they're not expensive!

This has provided good service for a long time. Made from an old boot top, clamped the wet leather in a set of wooden form blocks, let it dry & did a little stitching. I split the outside to aid retention of the holster in my pocket. I slide my fingers around the grip, the flap pushes out & the pistol slides out leaving the holster behind.

Total cost... zero dollars.

When a gun is in any well-fitting pocket holster, it seems to me the only part that can flex is the hook and on the Alabama that is very flexible.

That kydex one at the top of this page is EXACTLY what I use with my P32 (except mine's a right-handed version).

Yes. I've tried just about every kind of holster.
All have advantages and disadvantages. In the end, I don't ever expect to use my gun in anger, but I prefer to have one, just in case. Pocket carry of an undersized gun is the option that works for me. Do I wish I could comfortably carry my 9mm? Yes. But I can't. I also can't conceal a rifle or shotgun. So pocket carry of a 22, 32, or 380 is what I do when I'm able to carry--depending on clothing and circumstances. The P32 is my preferred option, simply because is shoots so pleasantly. Both my NAA 22 mini revolver and my P3AT are decidedly unpleasant to shoot, and practice, with.

I'm not second guessing any of your decisions. But just as a note in regard to the P3AT, it is not a particularly fun shooter as it comes. I went ahead and bought the Kel-Tec magazine extensions early on and I'm really glad I did. And they aren't expensive. The extensions put the fun in that gun for me. I love shooting it.
