To soon for a molded holster, I think.
A S&W EZ380 OWB holster seems to work ok in the meantime.

 

The holster will be along soon, I found a mag loader on Amazon already. I know its easy to load these mags but I have weak fingers and hands. The loader will be big help for me.

Search in Amazon, Nic Taylor p17 mag loader 12.99 free shipping. I found it in a google search. Has pics of it used on a p17 mag. Mine should be here net couple days.

The mag loader worked great, nice quality.

 

Mine fits perfectly in the Desantis Pocket-Tuk, Outbags pancake and the Holsterstore Belt Slide for my Glock 26 so I would assume any leather or nylon holster for a Glock 26 would work.

 

I found that Sig P365 holsters work. Bought a Houston soft leather IWB holster of Florida from Ebay and it worked great. Also a Remora pocket holster.

Thank you for the suggestion, @Ken_W ! I wanted a deeper fit, so I contacted the Houston seller and he suggested the G19/S&W M&P 22 model, so I bought that. It seems well-made and it fits exactly like I hoped. The spring waistband retention is pretty nice as well.

 

I talked to Kel-Tec and they said they don’t know of any companies yet that make a holster specifically for the P-17. They will let everyone know on Facebook when they get the info. I’m sure there are holsters out there that work great, problem is hunting one down!

 

Then I will have to hear from you guys I do not do Uncle Sam/Liberal funded monitoring network Fascist Bureau. No offense.

 

It's good to have a simple belt slid holster in your kit. One will hold similar sized autos quite well and are sufficient for range or field use. Even good ones will not break the bank and will suffice till a more model specific holster is located if desired.

 

i plan on buying a P17 and will be making kydex holster for it. ill take a couple orders from members if needed. im not a professional i just make a few on the side for me and buddies.

I tried this with a Galco but found when I inserted the gun the holster would engage the mag release.

I dont kniw much about kydex but a thinner thickness might in order with p17.

 

Sitting around at home today I decided to make a holster for my P17. I soon discovered that I was out of leather so I dug out an old leather belt that was too small and cut it apart. I cobbled the parts together to make it wider, added a few belt loops on the back and ta-da....a belt slide holster.



It's kind of rough (don't look too closely, LOL) and not too purdy, as I did it in a hurry but I carried my P17 around the house in it for most of the day and it is very, very light. Just needed something to carry my P17. Heading up to my cabin tomorrow for a walk in the woods and some time on my range.

It is also pretty snug when curved around your body.

 

As long as it works. Doesnt look bad.

Tried a Glock 26 Galco concealable, but every time I holstered the firearm the mag release would engage.

 

Was digging around in my holster box and ran across this old pancake holster I made for something else out of some scrap leather. Not sure what it was intended for but it fits well.

 

Here are my Blackhawk pocket holsters #3 and #4. Top is my P17-1 in the #3 and bottom is my P17-2. They really stick in the pocket while drawing weapon. The #4 is slightly bigger, I think it works best, Found the 3 in Bass pro for about $20, then figgered it could be a little bigger I checked Amazon....$11 and change out the mail box!

 

I'm going to look for a IWB kydex for it... Or see of someone will make me one

Just talked to my little brother, he makes leather holsters. I will give him my P17 and let him make one or some and I will get back on with a picture and a price. Or UI will see how he wants to handle it.

 

When you talk to him see if he can minimize weight. No sense in having a super light gun and a heavy holster.
