It’s normal for the OEM handguard/rails to have some play, since it’s only attached to the gas block via a single pin. LI rail fixes this by using multiple screws that can be tightened

 

All of the RDB OEM hand-guards, whether plastic or aluminum, have some play. A little bit of front and back play, and a little side to side. The degree just depends on individual guns. I have one that was very loose, and another that is very tight.
