Looks OK to me - the slight bevel is inward not outward.

The smaller spring fits snugly onto the recoil rod, The other spring fits over that one, so you have 2 springs in actual use.

vindex1963, he has greased the slide rails, just like I do. He may use a little more than me, or it may just be the Hi-res picture is making it look like more grease than is actually there. I've taken Hi-res pics down a rifle barrel, and reacted like jeez, didn't I just clean that thing!

+1, 3WB. A close up photo for some reason makes a thin film of grease look like it was put on with a mop.
