Good grief. Drove a vehicle through the front windows - which I assume were fortified. Looking for a beat up get-away car might help the cops find the perp.

Hi,

Butts and Barrels is pretty well fortified, from past experience, but you can't stop everything. The second store is just down the road from the County sheriff's offices, but the storefront is so narrow a large truck might have trouble getting in. Springfield has gotten pretty as of late so I'm always carrying in town.

I find that as things get pretty, I feel less likely to carry. If things get UGLY, well, it's always on me.

The last time I was in Springfield for any length of time more than just "passing through" was to visit a Karl Geis aikido dojo. I didn't like it.
