ignorance of the rules is no excuse. there are plenty of stickies to "READ THE RULES".

    IT REALLY IS SIMPLE.

    I VOTE FOR BANNING.

+1 This kind of stuff seems to be happening a lot here lately. I would hate to see the TP disapear just because people can't read and follow simple instructions.

 Holy cow, where did you fellas get the torches and pitchforks?

I violated a commandment rule by having two threads in the TP.

I hope you all aren't fixin' to ban me. I live in the boondocks and you all are about the only "computer people" I get along with.

Well if you do ban me... I'm gonna try and take a few of you out with me ;D

Thank You GoldenLoki. I made a mistake and I guess these guys want to crucify me. Glad to know I have at least one friend on this great board.

Re: WTT Browning Buckmark for 3-PAT

GoldenLoki, your history predates the current rules of the trading post, and I can see how 2 threads could happen. we all can.

But to admit that someone put a gun up for sale, and DID NOT READ THE RULES, who does NOT predate the old trading post, in light of the "TRADING POST RULES..READ THESE FIRST"....

and then admit they did not bother to read the rules.....

sorry. too much of this going on lately.

I deleted all of my post from this thread. Like I said, I am sorry. If ya'll want to ban me from TP because of this, have at it.

I do any crusicifying here that needs doing and you will notice that I wasn't coming after you with any pitchfork.  It is not uncommon for people to make a mistake.  We'd prefer that everyone read and follow protocol but mistakes are made.  So long as they are not major mistakes, or they are not repeated, we will live with them.

However, your posts should stand as part of your transaction record by which others can judge you in the future when they pull up your posts to decide if you are someone they want to trade with.

Looking around the TP you might have noticed that we do not remove old threads, nor do people remove their posts.  As I said, they should stand, "for the record".  Previous posts and past transactions are our only means of determining who we want to deal with.  As the rules say, when an item has sold, you are supposed to simply edit the title to include the word SOLD, not remove your posts.  BTW, you never did that.  Yet another violation.   :-?
