Cera-Hide is a propriertary finish formulated by CCR just for firearms. It is unlike those DIY products such as Duracoat and Cerakote that don't hold up to my standards of durability.

Cera-Hide is a thermally cured applied coating that has a nano ceramic infused matrix. It offers untold rust and corrosion protection along with being a self lubricating finish. It can be applied to all steels and alloys.

We also Mil spec Parkerize all carbon steel parts which provides an extra level of rust protection

Cera-Hide is available in Matte Black, House Black (a deep rich med luster) Stainless look, BTM ( similar to brushed nickel) OD Green,Dark Earth and our NEW Tri-Tanium color. Other colors maybe done on request

This is the House Black Cera-Hide

Cera-Plate is a true composite plating consisting of an Electroless Nickel/Boron Nitride bath

    Cera-Plates benefits are
    * Extremely low co-efficient of friction. Which greatly reduces wear on
    sliding parts
    * Boron Nitride offers great lubrication. The Boron Nitride is dispersed
throughout the plating exposing new lubrication
    * Cera-Plate has a higher hardness then standard plating and a fantastic
    Satin look

Cera-Plate will be available on Carbon Steels . We will not be plating Alloys such as Sig frames.

    This is the Cera-Plate

Re: WTS:CCR Refinishing NEW LOW COST firearm finis

Any way we could get some special pricing on the Cera Plate or Cera Hide coatings?

I'd love to get the house black Cera Hide on my P3AT slide, but I'd hate to spend $60 when a Glock full size slide would be done for $10 less. I don't mean to offend, but that seems a bit silly to me. ;)

Awesome!  What is the turn around time on a slide? Is there any "curing" time on the Cera Hide treatment?

Is it possible to coat the assembly pin and the P3AT pocket/belt clip accessory?

I'll just send a private message!

Would the Kel-Tec PF-9 fall under the small handgun category?

I take that the above price of for the slide only? What is the price for slide only for a Cera-Pate on a KT PF-9?

Do you also do a buff to take small machine marks before plating, if so $$ ?

Re: WTS:CCR Refinishing NEW LOW COST firearm finis

The cost to Cera-Plate a Keltec PF9 slide is $54. We remove any minor machine marks as part of our service.

If the marks require extra work the cost would depend on how many hours it would take to remove them. A safe bet would be $15 to $35 if needed

    +1

I knew them before they moved to TN, and still have guns Brad refinished. Really excellent work (he's a perfectionist)!

In fact, I'll be sending a P-3AT slide in next week.

Hello, I have a hard chrome finish P-11; how much for each option (House Black in Cera-plate and Cera-Hide) for the slide? I really like that House Black look.

If I included the slide catch/release, could you also do it in the same finish, and for how much extra?

Turnaround time is about how long?

    Thanks!!
