I enjoyed the thread on the High Point front sights used on a 2000. I have been unhappy with the standard sight. I replaced the adjustment screws and the sight but I am not satisfied. Ok. If I put a high point sight on and mounted it an inch or more back from the muzzle, could the barrel be threaded for a suppressor?

Is it a 9 or a 40? Is it a 1st or 2nd Gen? Some have mounted cans on 1st Gens, but there isn't much material to work with up there at the muzzle. Especially on the 40s.

Then, a qualified yes is the answer. Make sure the work is done by a competent and experienced 'smith that has done cans before. The average machinist won't always understand the importance of alignment.
