The recoil springs of my P3AT is slightly bent and, while I don't see this compromising functioning, I want to have a spare.
Would a 13lb Wolff spring made for an LCP work?
Maybe, but why not put back what works now?

Why not just get a new recoil spring assembly from Kel Tec. (Part # 190-195-$9.00 at the Kel Tec store.)

Stick with the factory springs. One of our members did a excellent review on Wolff recoil springs and from what I remember they ended up being a wash. After they were broken in they were no better than factory in his testing.

Actually what I meant with my post. Replace with the proper factory spring.

Reacher, If the laws in Italy make it hard to get Kel Tec parts, the LCP recoil springs would probably work okay in the P3AT since the LCP is really a close clone of the Kel Tec. Factory standard P3AT springs are 11lbs, but Wolff does offer 13lb extra power springs for the Kel Tec as well. Likely okay, though with the extra power springs, you might have some issues with light loads. Should work fine with higher power defensive loads, but I would run a box or two through to check that before relying on it.

Our memories must be short. This was a post from Reacher back in Nov 2015:

"As usual, haste makes waste. You were right, guys, Kel Tec has one of the best customer support in the world.
They answered my mail and will send me two ejectors at no charge."

Wonder what the problem with getting parts from KelTec is now.

Reacher must have forgotten, as I had, that he had a Kel Tec part issue in the past, and KT was able then to send him the parts he needed. Just a simple email and voila, new parts.

Guess I'm gonna try the wolff spring and see how it goes. Thanks for the answers.

cmon guys, I haven't forgotten. Problem is that they sent the spare as a favor and didn't want any money. Also I'm not able to buy from the shop. It is obvious for me that I'm not gonna ask again if I can just buy a working spare for 10€.

There's an importer, a small business called Diamant srl that is bringing in Kel Tec products right now. They used to import the P3AT but now they just have the PF9 and the KSG. There are still some P3AT in the used market and some new ones at the gun shops. But not many, it is almost impossible to get a "concealed carry license" here.

Ditto. I went online and researched them. They import/export a lot of different products. Reacher, if you need a KelTec spring, I'll send you one. You can figure out how to pay me after we get the shipping charge. How about PayPal?

Thank you very much for the offer but I'm confident that I will find a suitable spare here in Italy, without wasting your time.
I've understood that the springs of the LCP are the same, and these are readily available here.
So I'll just get a set and see if I can go trough a box or two of the standard ammo I use without malfunctions.
