I got the Wolff "Calibration Pack" to try the higher strength recoil springs. Also included is a firing pin spring that says, "extra strength" or "extra power" someting like that. What does this mean? Is it a stronger spring, or a lighter spring to give more firing pin velocity, striking force?

I wouldn't think you'd want a stronger firing pin spring on a gun that is already prone to light strikes and a lighter one may negate the drop fire safety margin?

It was some time back, but I only measured a possible 0.001" difference in wire diamter between the wolff and the KT
that would make the force at installed increase from 2.6 to 3.1 ponds
the force at full compression would increase from 5.3 to 6.2 (120% increase)

I currently have the KT with 3 coils cut so I have about 1 at installed and 4 at full compression and have shoot a few rounds with all three of the wolf sets (see Sticky)

However, the decision NOT to install the springs provided by wolf would be up to you
