Hi there, I am a new member. I am in Phoenix and have had a hard time finding a PLR 16. I am so far from Florida! Anyway, I like the idea of having one. I imagine there are certain dealers that have more access than others. Can you steer me in the right direction.

I added the list of Kel-Tec distributors to the FAQ, but keep in mind that most distributors don't sell directly to the public. There are a few large distributor-dealers like CDNN, but most of the time, Kel-Tec sells to distributors, the distributors sell to dealers, and the dealers sell to retail customers. The list of Kel-Tec distributors can be very useful when your local gun dealer wants to find a Kel-Tec for you but doesn't know which distributors might sell Kel-Tec products. Most of the distributors don't want to talk to a guy looking to buy a PLR-16. The distributors want to sell to dealers.

PS - If not for the 1968 Gun Control Act, we could buy a PLR-16 on Kel-Tec's website and have it shipped to our home, without the inefficiencies and costs of two extra layers of distribution, and without the cost and hassle of the 4473 form. :)

I had to get one online and have it sent to my local shop. In 10+ years I have seen no more than 10 of these for sale... 2 in gun stores (both AR heavy in their stock), the rest at gun shows. Its not something you are just going to see browsing most likely.

Davidson

I will contact Davidson in Prescott and see what they can tell me. I did not know there was an Arizona Distributor.

Thanks for the info.
