When will CMR-30's be in stock and not a high demand item? My goodness, I've been wanting 1 for a year, ever since I bought my PMR-30 for $300.00 mint in box, but I'm patient and not a 16 year old kid that has to have it now, hence I'm NOT paying some ridiculous price to get one. It's rare but it ain't the end all of guns. So, I just wonder 2 things.......
1.) When will they hit gun stores and not be so rare.
2.) Are the new models free of the bad this, bad that, broken this broken that,,,,,,,like the older models? Are the newer guns any better?
Thanks for replies.

Sounds like they still have bolt catch problems. Kel -Tec is to small of a company to meet the market demands of all it's products. I'm afraid if you are waiting for a CMR-30 for 350.00 with five to choose from at your local shop you will be waiting a long time. They have come down in price but to get one under $550.00 is rare now and a good deal. You can check Gunbroker to get a feel of how pricing is trending. Ammo is where you can concentrate your savings effort I paid a little more then I wanted for the CMR but with all the money saved finding .22WMR deals the extra cost was made up quickly after all can't have one without the other. Good luck searching for one they are a riot to shoot and paired with a PMR-30 you can burn 400 rounds at the range pretty quick but have a lot of fun doing it.

Kel tec is actually one of the larger gun manufacturers in the country. From what I understand they are intentionally expanding at a rate they can manage long term. They don't want to grow too fast and have problems later on.

The demand for their latest and greatest has always outpaced their production. Personally, I'd rather wait a year or two and let the price come down and the bugs get worked out before buying. 22mag is still pretty rare in my area anyway.

Going by square footage of floor space...they're actually pretty small. With less than 300 employees.

Going by production numbers...KT ranks like 3rd or so depending on where you read the info.

Not bad for a small, family owned business.

I don't know where you got the idea I'm waiting for 1 for $350.00 and have 5 to choose from?????? That's kinda bold for you to imply.

I bought mine for a bout 600.00 All in. I over paid a little because I was a little worried that the election might make it hard to get one.

Maybe I was wrong about the election. I got mine now so there.
I did the same thing. After shipping & handling, and local LGS fees mine was closer to $700. But couldn't risk it with the election. I'm still happy I got it though.
