I'm still hunting the world looking for one of these unicorns to actually be available. Is there any dealer who has a more likely chance of getting them in? Going to part with my extra SU-16c because the RDB has me entranced.
Any information is appreciated.

I gave up and bought an AUG, I may still get an RDB but I got tired of waiting. Maybe by next tax return season there will be a few out there. Supposedly there's a 5000 gun run that will hit the market this year but who knows.

Someone is selling two with consecutive serial numbers on gunbroker right now

Buy it now is only $4500. What a bargain!:laugh2:
He's sold like a grand total of 8 items in the last 2 years:rolleyes:.
He could sell them separately in a heartbeat. He's just being a p-tease.
Consecutive serial numbers mean zip on those guns.

Agree the consecutive serials mean zip on those guns, and the fact they may be from last year make them worth even less than a current one.

Although, president Pinocchio's recent "never let a good crisis go to waste" mantra has moved him back into the #1 salesman position, and certainly running the price up on anything even remotely resembling an assault rifle -- working or not. Even kits, parts, barrels, and partially finished lowers are up.

I got mine from Kevin at Guns Too in Lenoir, SC. Great guys and found mine in a week or so for $969...with the extra mags I bought and ammo, I walked out with a bill of a hair over $1000 and a Cheshire grin. I promised him I'd spread the word as much as I could so I am.

September for those who managed to get the alotted preorders (of which I lucked out and got one) but given the several months of work I've had trying to chase the rdb too I don't think of it as much of a difference and the native .308 which is my preferred caliber is nice with a free floating barrel. Not to say I don't want an rdb as I am still definatly interested being an ambidextrous shooter, but at this point I'm content to wait for one of the dealers to call when they do and maybe end up with a later generation. And I'd certainly would love to do a direct comparison of the two later on.
