Now that I straightened out my question on purchasing a SU-16C what do you guys/gals suggest I add on a flash hider or muzzle break.
Pros and cons of each?
Thanks

How are you going to use it, and what do you want to accomplish with a muzzle device? Now that I straightened out my question on purchasing a SU-16C what do you guys/gals suggest I add on a flash hider or muzzle break.

The C, CA, and D models come with threaded barrels (1/2 by 28). The A and B models do not have threads.I don't have either on my SU16. Did you guys buy yours with threaded barrel for brake or flash hider or did you have it machine threaded?
I put an AK-74 brake on mine, in hopes that its large expansion chamber would soften the blast a bit. Looks like it made no difference whatsoever.I am using a linear compensator. It, to me is not a function of recoil, rather a function of noise and blast mitigation.
Shooting a .223/5.56 indoors without a suppressor will be an ear ringing experience. Doesn't matter if you use a brake or flash hider. One other thing to think about, if you are planning to use your C model as a home defense gun a muzzle brake will damn near deafen you inside a room.
You are correct. however, speaking from experience the brake is worse.Shooting a .223/5.56 indoors without a suppressor will be an ear ringing experience. Doesn't matter if you use a brake or flash hider.
Ordered a J-Comp also. Should have it Friday Aug 12.I recently got a Strike Industries J-comp. I haven't installed yet, but it is supposed to have great recoil reduction and ok flash suppression.
