Hi all. I dont know if this is the appropriate place to post this but I was looking to purchase some of those washers for my p3at. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

You'll need 22 more posts to have access to the Trading Post. ;)

If you do a search of the TP you should be able to find the old thread with them for sale.

    What washers?

    I'm confused.

I can't be the only one. Can I?

Nope, cause I dont' have a clue either. I'm guessing maybe it could have something to do with the slide peening issue???

princemorr2003, I would suggest you consider the posts in this thread and NOT part with any washers ...

that slide NEEDS to be replaced. washers will do no good.

I had my slide replaced and then added a washer to the new slide for insurance.

that is the ticket. me too.

but to use the buffer to try to fix an existing problem is not a good idea. get it fixed first. then add the insurance policy.

    Hi,

It prevents the recoil guide spring rod from peening the hole on the front of the side which will eventually allow the recoil springs to poke through. This is not an issue on any of the P3AT's that I have shot or worked on.

    Best Regards

Is there a list anywhere of the serial# range that has the peening problem, or is this information unknown?

Thanks much for the list, looks like I should be ok. Was afraid I might have just wasted time and money on plating for a slide that's going to go back to KT.
