I read about so many of you sending your guns back to the factory for warranty work. Is it possible if you purchased your gun at a local gun store that they perform the warranty work. Or is it mandatory that it be sent back to the factory ?

It must go back to the factory in order for the weapon to be covered under it's factory warranty.
