Have you checked an army/Navy store?
I picked up an avaitors survival kit many years ago and have long since shot my flares.
I have it somewhere, but haven't sourced (or tried to) any of the flares... Come to think of it, a new milsurp place opened down the road. Maybe I'll check with them....

Thanks for these. A place had them for $ 120. but as you may Have guessed they ran out almost immediately . I am in process of getting on gunbroker but the arms list is new to me. Oh yes I love the search. Main reason my wife just got me a Larue tactical LT663 Pen flare adapter mount. Now I need the pen flare. I cant wait till I get my gunbroker up and going and I am heading over to arms list. Thanks for the help. IMG_0385.jpg

I think the cost is why I quit searching.
They sell flare guns all over the place here in Florida.
For way less than that. Be it much larger.
But that gun mount is a new idea...

Hi and thanks for replying. I sent a message. ( or at least I hope I did .This new format has me confused) Let me know your thoughts. As I stated earlier gun show goods had them for $120 complete unopened. I guess that's a starting point.

The one I have is the commercial version I bought in the 1970's so it's gold anodized and looks more like the one shown in the mount. Now the question is, where the heck is my military one!

    They were hunted to extinction.
Once thought to be extinct, a few are emerging from spending decades hiding in caves.
I grab every one I see. And $120 is cheap.
Magical creatures, they are nod.gif .
