Installed my friends Tactical Innovations Tac-65 .22 sound suppressor on the SU-22, we used the thread protector as a spacer because the threads on the barrel are too long .  As the video says using Remington Subsonics at first which failed to cycle the bolt fairly often, then switching to the Federal Value Pack ammo, which functioned flawlessly but was louder of course.  The beginning is pretty boring, dopey me took my good old time clearing the stoppages.  The fun fast drum action is the last half, and some AR shootin' at the end.

    Nice photography (as always)!

The file name on the photo indicates this SU-22 is an SU-16.

That drum is something I have no use for but the $75 price at 44mag.com is almost too good to miss.

I'm OK with the 25 round stick mags, but a mag clip to put a pair of them together with a quick mag swap in the middle might be kinda kewl, without the width of a 50 round drum.

This thread is making me want to go shoot my SU-22C some more. :)

    Nice video.

It's strange seeing all that white stuff all over, we don't get much of that down here.

L4E, regarding your comment on the video.

Congress is the real kill-joy, not the ATF. The ATF is just the enforcer of the law, but it was Congress that passed the laws requireing the $200 tax stamp.

    Got a fix for that:

It's the first step in nullifying federal gun laws, including the NFA and GCA, and a lot of BATFE rulings as well. Many states including mine have provisions that will allow suppressors made and sold within the state to be free from federal infringement. It's a specific form of state sovereignty that opens the door for state sovereignty on a lot of other issues as well.

In eight hours, I'll be starting my 10th day at gun shows promoting the Kentucky Firearms Freedom Act. It's my legislative pet project this year. I made a website.

PS - The BATFE doesn't need to enjoy their job so much if they're only enforcing the law. :)

BDM drums for Keltec/AR15 and 10-22 just work. And they are MUCH easier to load than stick magazines because the cartridges are not loaded under spring tension. In the cold, that makes a difference.
