Has anyone tried any trigger mods to the P3-AT the likes of which are described in the following link for the P-11 which is similar (but not exactly the same as the P3-AT).

If so, what was the result.

I have done a bit of gun-smithing very successfully on many firearms but failed when doing this one.  The trigger fell back to half cock position when I was done and I wound up purchasing a few new parts to bring it back to operation.  Not a lot of $$ but a direct hit on my skills  --- but like so many of us here on this site, I just had to try it. ;D

Other then lightly polishing the contact surfaces, I wouldn't change a KT trigger on a bet.

That long hard trigger pull Is the Safety on these pocket SD guns.
They are just not meant to be target / range pistols, so why try to make them into one.

What RC said, plus the P3AT is a different trigger (hammer block) system than the P11.

However, polishing the trigger bar won't hurt anything and will smooth the trigger somewhat.
