:( Bought a PF-9 a couple of weeks back and really liking it . Thought I 'd check out the little brother today in the 380 vintage. Being not a small person....couldn't get my trigger finger into place without wiggling it on thru the trigger guard. Guess I'm out of luck on this model! Is the P-32 the same story?

Just put the two together and appears so.

    both measure
just in front of the lower tip of the trigger to the frame, perpendicular to the barrel =0.83" (and my finger 0.75")
the largest from the curve of the triger, parralel to the barrel = 0.79" (and my finger 0.60")

    No, not at all...

The P32 is smaller! Sounds like the PF-9 is your "lower size" limit...

With hands that big you don't need a gun..... Just crush the attacker's throat with your bare hands. ;)

FWIW, the Ruger LCP has a much larger trigger guard.

If it were any smaller my finger wouldn't fit. As it is mine had a nasty ridge where the two halves of the mold or die (whatever it's called) came together and my finger nail was snaggin on it. Scraped it down with a sharp knife and the polished it up with some 600 grit paper and all is well. I've found just sticking the tip of my finger in works much better than trying to go all the way to the first joint.
