PMR30-505

NEW PMR Threaded Barrel with Flash Reducer & NEW Buffer installed.

Observations:

Swapping the barrels is really easy.
The 'flash reducer' is a conical flash re-director.
My new production PMR was built with the old style buffer.

Is there a rim-fire suppressor available that utilizes a Nielsen device similar to AAC's A.S.A.P. Clutch™ system?

I think something like that would work on the long barrel PMR.

Are you talking about an LID (Linear Inertial Decoupler) I own 7 suppressors and have them on a few. Some guns need them and some don't.

I think that keltec does not recommend putting a suppressor on the PMR-30 because of the increase blow back pressure that would be present.

If you want a true suppressor that does not cause back pressure you would need one of these. I am in the process of getting one. Gotta love new Tech.

I remember an associate sampling an early prototype that resembles what's on the video.
I'm definitely interested in the Gen V.

OSS suppressors seem to be an interesting concept, but I found zero information on weight and materials, and I was all over their website, and multiple searches. They did have some reasonable noise reduction numbers for various calibers and platforms, but I'm not spending that type money without a little more info.

I don't think OSS suppressors are ready for prime-time just yet, and finding a DT MDR is not easy.

I have no plans to suppress my PMR, but the CMR may end up with a can.
