Would I be able to take the slide from gun a and install it on gun b.
When I get my next p3 I won't due that but is it possible?

It will work, but why? Let the parts wear in to each other and leave them on the same pistol. I have two P3ATs, but that was because I got my first one in the "bad old days" of unreliability so I could have one when the other invariably had to back to Kel-Tec for service.

Did not want to do it, was just curious if the machining of the weapon was good enough that you could do that.

Yes you can. If you have a green, blue, black and grey body and a HC and blue slide you can mix and match to suit your fancy of the day. That said, letting them wear in together is probably a better idea.
