I recently purchased 4 Thermold 20 round mags from Gunbroker.com at $4.30 per mag plus $6.50 shipping.
That comes out to a cost of $5.925 per mag.

I loaded them last night with 20 rounds of various brands, as seen on target pics below. Targets are printed on 8.5"x11" letter size paper.
Temp was about 95°, humidity about 40% after heavy morning rains.
Shooting off table at 50 yards with bi-pod deployed.
Acquire target, pull, acquire target, trigger reset, pull, not too fast not too slow.

Happy to report zero issues with all 4 mags!
Loading rounds was fine, they fit in magwell and drop free when released.

Range looks nice, wish I had something real close by like that. Those are some good groups. The barrel cold and barrel hot had about the same groups, interesting.
It's Ben Avery, north of Phoenix, $7 range fee for the day.
I would think the ranges in NC would be similar but have trees.

They tighten up quite nicely when I take my time but I usually practice double taps or mag dumps while trying to get all shots on paper.

Oh, for a second I thought y'all were smokin' some wacky tobacky calling these good groups... but I understand 10 M.O.A. accuracy for a mag dump aint bad at all.

My first reaction was "I get tighter groups with slugs outta the KSG". Glad to know you're having fun.

I've got some 20 round USA labeled Thermolds and they're fine. Think they
were something like $4 each from CTD, years ago.

IIRC, Thermolds are good except for the ones marked as made in Canada. The Canadians bought licensing to manufacture from Thermold, but deviated from the
recipe and the results were bad, and the bad rep spread to all Thermold's...resulting
in some great deals to be had.

Edit: the Canadian versions might not say 'made in Canada', but the US made
models will say so.

Thermold 20 round mag UPDATE

Sent another 100 rounds down range this morning; Freedom Munitions 5.56 M-855 62 GR AP New.
It appears that my SU-16 is more accurate with this heavier round (@ 200 yards).
I did have one FTE but I think that's a charging handle issue.
Thinking I'll keep track of each mags round count til they fail.

Mine are labeled;
Master Molder
Wilson, NC
