Just a suggestion for those wanting to mark their PLR-22 sights in a non-permanent manner but have it be more visible. Take a bottle of document correction fluid, and carefully use the corner of the brush to fill in the circular detents of your rear buckhorn sight. You should be able to fill them in without any of it going outside the edge. Then mark the tip of the visible side of the front sight post. These can be easily refreshed, or removed without any hassle or permanent change to your rifle. If you do desire a more permanent change (such as day-glo orange), take a wooden tooth pick. Break off the tip. Chew the remaining piece in your front teeth till it'd frayed a small amount. This will be your pin point brush. Take the cap from a can of your desired color spray paint (well warmed in the sun and pre shaken), and carefully spray a tiny amount into the center of the cap. This will be your paint supply. Now dip a tiny bit of the frayed end of your tooth pick brush, say 1/32" - 1/16" into this paint and carefully dot your rear and front sights. You may even try glow in the dark paint (look online or in craft stores). All these paints have a limited life, and need refreshing at some point. Even if clear coated afterward. The sun fades the orange quickly, and eventually deactivated the luminescent paint. The correction fluid peels off (more so on the front post). These are not permanent solutions, but easy and quick ideas for those wanting to see if sight markup helps them see them any better, before going to a more permanent or higher priced solution. I would start with the correction fluid first. It can be scraped off the front post with a thumb nail, and picked out of the rear with the pointy end of your tooth pic. Enjoy, let me know your thought/suggestions below.

Oh, and Happy 4th of July! Get out to the range and exercise your 2nd amendment today in celebration of your independence.
