Are the FDE and ODG versions of the Sub2K gen2 actually molded with colored plastic or are they just the black version with a coating on top? I just ordered some ODG parts from Keltec direct and they are telling me they are cerakoted and I always thought they were molded from colored plastic.

Some parts such as black are molded into the parts. Other colors are cerakoated. Someone else may know exactly which colors are done with which process.

Oh I just got feedback from Keltec. According to them, the black versions are actually black plastic. The color versions are Cerakote on top of white plastic so if you scratch up a colored version white should show. Not the greatest but whatever.

Edit: that goes for all of their current production colored guns, not just the sub2k.
