I bought this rifle new in Nov 1997. Serial 006XX - magzines S&W 59. A few months later I made an order from kelTec for a soft case, 2 mecgar 10 round mags, and a sling. The rifle has lived in my safe ever since, sadly I have only shot maybe 100 rounds thru it in over 25 years. Years later I kicked myself in the ass for not getting the Glock option (I don't remember the dealer offering a choice - my fault) and also not buying the light accessory (very dated but would look cool). Anyway hello. It is nice to own a small production gun rich in interesting history. my guess would be 75% of the original 3500 are left and fewer than that in mint shape.

Welcome aboard. Many still around here. That’s cool to hear you are the original owner of a early in the production line Sub9. I often wonder how many are still out there of the 3500. I know probably at least 100 or so members have that I know of on here. Mine is also in 9mm sw59 mag which is fine since I have the p11 and p40 which takes the 15rd sw59 mags. I am not the original owner, I only wish but I would of been too young to own one back then. I was lucky enough to receive an very early serial number 1xx sub9 from a fellow member here. Plus ive gotten to shoot many other members sub 9 in both 9mm and 40s&w at different shoots I’ve been too. They don’t get talked about as much anymore. I like your sling mount. Go shoot it sometime and enjoy it!
