I don't doubt your's are. But mine aren't. The 2.5 (I have several) is too sloppy a fit. The 3.0 are too big. Same with the American sizes, ones too big and the next size down is too small.

And just to let y'all know, I'm not a twelve year old in my mom's basement. I'm a retired electrician with about 50 years experience gunsmithing. My Allen wrenches are all of a high quality.

So it looks like KT has used an oddball sized screw. Mmmm.

Earley claimed his product came with a 2.5mm allen wrench. The one I got in his package is stamped 2.5 mm USA on it so its a high quality one. Fit my Sub2k gen 2 screws perfectly. Since your saying multiple 2.5mm allen wrenchs were a sloppy fit then it probably is the screws. Maybe contact KT customer service and see what they say about it. Perhaps a running change in production and they have in fact changed the spec. Or utilized a different supplier that didn't supply the correct part this time around? Drawing at straws here honestly but those are the potential scenarios I think of putting myself in your situation.

Best of luck and hope you get it sorted out.

It's 2.5 mm. Metric.
I'm sitting here looking at my 2nd gen and that's what it is.
One of mine is a 2nd Gen, and I have serviced several others. All were 2.5 mm.

I think we've pretty much covered this subject. Live with it, send it back, or take it to a gunsmith.
