I finally got around to field stripping my SU16C for the first time to learn how to do it. Read the whole manual, nothing too specific as far as where to lube and more importantly, where NOT to lube.

Advice?

I think the general rules apply: Grease sliding parts, oil pivoting parts. Don't over lubricate the gas piston or spring as it will burn.

I sprayed CorrosionX into my stock because I noticed that the screws and hardware inside had surface rust.

The bolt is steel and receiver is polymer no metal on metal so trigger is polymer with a steel spring once again no metal on metal,reminds me of my old rRemington nylon 66!
