These lasers were about to get tossed as we packed up and moved a lab at work. I bought them a few years ago and thought I'd rescue them. I found 4 of them in all, but will be keeping two to play with myself. I thought I'd give you guys a look at them before putting them up on Ebay. To be clear, I have two of the following lasers for sale. The only difference between them is the serial number, so I'm only showing one. Here tiz... Specifications: Power = 1 mW (Class II) Wavelength = 633 nm Focus adjustable from as close as 2". Focal spot as small as 50 microns at 2". Across the room the spot size is a millimeter or so. Operating Voltage = 4-6 Volts DC Includes: The laser head AC power supply Focus adjustment tool Data Sheet I do optics for a living, folks. These are nice lasers! Just plug them in and turn them on. They come with a safety shutter and a focus adjustable lens inside the laser housing. I'll leave it to you to come up with ideas on how to use them. I see the two I'm keeping showing up in a science fair project someday. They are very bright, but low enough in power that I don't mind letting my kids play with them - under my supervision. Of course, don't look into the beam. Also, since the lasers run off of only 4-6 V DC you could easily fashion a battery powered supply using a 9V battery and voltage divider if you want. I can show you how to do that if you want. $30, shipped. (I paid a couple of hundred bucks for them when new.) First two to post dibbs and PM me gets them. I'll take PayPal, but prefer a money order or cashiers check to avoid the fees. Thanks!
