Has anyone using A-Zoom or similar snap-caps had smilies or other marks made on the caps by cycling them through their P3ATs?  If so what kind of marks?  Did they effect the function of the caps?  Was this 1st or 2nd gen?  Also, has your ramp been polished?

When they are well-used, the extractor chews up the rim pretty well, but no marks on the "projectile"end.

When I first read the title I was thinking that if a snap cap left a mark then it may not have been a snap cap :D Whew! Glad I was wrong about that one. Are you using the aluminum or the plastic ones?

I use A-Zooms and cycling them has caused wear on the rim as previously mentioned as well as chipping the paint off the "casing" next to the "bullet". But that's about it, no other wear worth mentioning.

Mine just have marks on the "primer" from the firing pin nailing them.

  6. Have you polished the ramp?

I use A-zooms on mine each time I clean it... usually 3-4 x month. No marks that I have noticed... I will check tonight!
