For an update on the new slide red dot combo. Went to the indoor range today. When shooting with the new slide I had some failure eject issues with federal auto mag and Remington golden ammo. Thunderbolts and cci standard velocity ran fine. I liked shooting with it indoors. When I got home about noon I took the gun with the slide outside. Depending on which way the sun hit the optic there was an extreme white glare on glass. You could see the dot ok but seeing your target through the glare was tough. I guess I will use it mainly indoors. Kind of sucks because I shoot outdoors alot.
