50 yard head shot and 100 yard off hand body shots, cheapo 115gr ammo.

50 yard head shots 100 yard body shots, cheapo slovakian 124gr ammo sitting field position.

Shot 200+ rounds out of 4 glock 17rnd mags and 2 magpul 17rnd mags, no issues whatsoever. Only complaint is how hard it is to get a good sight picture, has to be the least ergonomic rifle ive ever shot, lol.

I tbink a taller red dot like a vortex strikefire would work well on it and be easier on the eyes. The carbine seems to be accurate just not easy to shoot, but part of that is due to the folding design. Also if you are a lefty like me it will burn your arm and face with powder with some types of ammo. I can shoot left or right handed but prefer the left side, found myself using it more from the right side today due to the powder burns.

I think with some more trigger time ill do,much better. You can, tell the rifle is more accurate than the shooter, lol. That slovakian ammo isnt very accurate yet the group sizes are similar. Shooting prone with the iron sights is very uncomfortable, will take some getting used to.

To each their own. Your carbine is accurate enough to fulfill the roll it was designed for, shoot 9mm pistol ammo far more accurately than a pistol is able. Nothing wrong with those groups, could you do that at 100 yards with your pistol? Of course it's your gun and you will do what you feel driven to do. I just don't understand negating the characteristics that define the weapon in an effort to fill a nitch other weapons are far better suited for out of the box. A hundred yard and beyound tack driver...an AR carbine will fill that role better in its base configuration than a sub will ever no matter how much money you put in it.
Me I appreciate the sub for what it is. It fills a roll that it alone occupies in the gun world and does it well. You can get a pretty good AR these days for $600, well at least till Nov but that's another topic:eek:

Sounds like good set up. Can you post pics?

The EOTech out front on the top rail is boringly dead center accurate... I like that.
It folds almost in half, and I can live with that.

I have experienced a few added benefits by mounting the EOTech all the way out front on the hand guard.

1. The added weight out front helps reduce muzzle flip.
2. Less of my view is blocked when looking AROUND the optic.
3. I enjoy enhanced accuracy at longer distances, the 1 MOA center dot helps.
4. It's even easier/faster for my eye to pick up & track the red dot looking through the large 'window' on the EOTech.

Your results may vary.
