Blued, and just finished mounting the belt clip.
Next plan is to purchase a metal guide rod, and some still Wolff springs.

Sixth Kel-Tec firearm since I first bought P32 a few years ago.
Let's see- 3x P11s, 1x P32, 2x P3ATs (gave the first one to my pal Hal last couple weeks back) and 1x customized SU16C.
I probably won't be buying another firearm for a while. ;D

Looks like you need another P32 & maybe a P40 as well.

Plan is to go to range manana am and run 100rds S&B through and see what happens.
I don't plan on doing a F&B unless absolutely necessary.
    Will be carrying Speer GoldDots.
Seems to me little KTs do better with a bullet that doesn't have a 'shoulder' on it.
Pure curve seems more palletable. (sp) read as 'easy to swallow'.
I was looking at the P380 (Kahr's number). Seems a little shorter, but I'm not sure thinner.
I REALLY like Kahr's arms having owned a PM9, but I think KT, for the price and tech beats the crap outta Kahr, Ruger, or anybody else.

    Hey Dummy-
You've got a METAL guide rod in there, I guess you fingered that out after you cleaned it, huh!
Is this a change? I recently had to purchase a metal guide rod for my latest P11, and it occurs to me that I had to do same for my last P3AT.
    Oh well.

Don't know what was up with your last P3AT. P3ATs all come with a metal guide rod as did the P40. P32s and P11s use the polymer. My recommendation is to keep them that way. I think I have yet to see a polymer guide rod fail.

Wow, that's exactly what happened to the metal guide rod on the first P380 I had!
    THANK YOU for the tip!

Well we went to the range on the 31st and I had the intention of running 100rds of S&B.
80rds went to shooting orange dots on paper plates as varying distances, not a single FTF, FTE or AOFT! At 15ft the 'sight picture' seems to be a bit under the desire point of impact. Action is crisp and recoil tolerable.
So with about 20rds left, I moved over to the metal silhouette range.
I got 7rds rounds through and when I fired the 8th, all I heard was a wimpy little 'pop', and the gun locked down completely.
    Round IN chamber!
HORRORS I thought, back to KT?

Took it back to where I bought it and after warning the owner that it was still loaded, he took it in the back and got it unlocked.

The primer had fired and extruded, but the powder failed to ignite.
Couldn't jack the slide back, no trigger, the gun had locked completely.
I don't really understand why I couldn't get the slide to come back.
Anyway, the owner offered me a box of Winchester marked at $40.00, but I couldn't accept that, too expensive, so I suggested another box of S&B at less than $20.00.

I was relieved that this wasn't an issue with the gun.

I'm looking to buy my second P3AT and second PF9 as soon as I can find them. They are getting scarse around here. All the anxiety about Obama's administration is playing havoc with my attempts to complete my short list purchases.

    Hi CTBRD.
I had a reload that the premier only fired.
    Didn't lock the slide.
Had to use a hammer to get the bullet out of the barrel.
No more reloads.  Use only magtech 95gr now.
    Charlie.

    Good Advice.
I like Magtech and American Eagle
I have to shoot S&B when other ball ammo not available.
And I sort of worry about shooting HPs through a new gun.
Just have to shoot it, clean it and if over about 500rds, maybe a little F&B.

    Thank You For Your Service
