I recently inherited a late model (1980s?) Stevens 987 tube-auto-feed rifle, serial # D772XXX. Does anyone have any info on this squirrel rifle?

It's not worth anything on the market, but I read that it can be a tack-driver, with its 4X10 scope.

You are right, there is almost no resale value: 50 to 95 dollars, probably closer to 50.

Production was discontinued in 1989. The stock is hardwood.
