I've "heard" you can do the same thing with a mag full of .357 in a P229 with a .40 barrel ... :[/quote]


makes sense, .357 and .40 mags are interchangeable. they are like the same casing, but the .357 is somewhat thicker cased than .40. mags feed the same.
