Since I asked the question about the FTE's I checked and found that the hex bolt was loose!

Since tightening I've had no problems. I now have added three grips (inner tube type) and it seems like my finger is not getting as beat up.

Maybe I've adjusted my releasing the trigger so who knows.

I did fire a couple Pow'R ball rounds and that was felt on the finger, I guess that is +P, sure feels like it; even seems hotter than the Santa Barbara!
