I have read and tried to search the forums about returning my Pistol and i was wanting to know how some of you guys returned your pistols for repair? Did you use a certain shipping company over another? I hate for my pistol to get lost or stolen but i guess thats the risk of shipping it back to get work done to it. Any info would be helpful. I read my owner's manual but i was trying to get more detailed info and helpful hints from the forums to make this easier on me. i have never sent something like this before, the only thing of value i have sent out for repair is my xbox, but of course this is a handgun. Thank you all for your responses.

Field strip your gun, wrap up the individual parts and ship via UPS as machine parts for about $8.
