Just wondering, is there an official letter designation for plated bullets? Like the ones from Berry's Manufacturing or Ranier Lead Safe Bullets?
e.g., Common terms: LRN = Lead Round Nose, JHP = Jacketed Hollow Point, etc.
I use "P" because that makes sense, (e.g., PFP = Plated Flat Point) but I've never seen it, the "P", used outside of my own notes. Typical mention of these type of bullets always seems to spell out the entire word "plated".
