I have a TRS mounted exactly like GroundPerformance. I'm very happy with it. I can honestly shoot slightly better groups with the irons, but the red dot causes me much less eye strain, has faster acquisition, and the difference in group size is between .5"-1" at 50 yards.

Went with a TRS-25. Waiting on a Med.(.83") quick release riser. I noticed the rail on the gun is not flat, but rises in the center where the two halves meet. Anyone else have this issue?
It's common with injection molded halves. Run a sanding block over it a few passes and you'll be fine.

Not sure if Primary arms has anything in your price range, but they have great products for the price.
The "better" PA (and other Holosun OEs), Vortex, and Lucid units typically come in at the next price-point, ~$150 to $250.

But I do agree: they are excellent for the money. On a recent range outing where two of my friends and I laid out tens of thousands of dollars' worth of guns and accessories on the table, a look through one's PA Advanced Micro that he'd bought for his/his son's 10/22 was enough to convince the other two guys - myself included - to purchase the same. I mounted one on my daughter's M&P 15-22, and my buddy bought the Atlantic Firearms RS AKMD combo.

If the OP wants to bump that budget, these new Chinese-made RDSs are worth a look, for-sure.

Groundperformance Great looking Sub 2K! I really like the Green Carbines.
Just got mine last Saturday, it's a Black 9mm Gen 2. I really like your Red Dot Sight setup. Can you please post a few closeup pictures of the Sight and Mount! Also, can you include the Part Numbers of the Mount and any other parts that I will need. It would be appreciated :) I am also looking for a Angled Forearm Grip and possibly a LED Light!

Thanks
Bobby

The Holosun is a really good red dot. I have been testing one out and it might beat out the Burris FFIII on my 2nd Sub2000.
The circle dot EOTech reticle is my favorite, and the Holosun circle dot is a very good alternative in a much smaller package. It's fast, and quite accurate.
