Yep sling, HK type hook hardware and adjustment sliders

 

I knew I wasn't going to be reusing my barrel nut. So I did use a shop rag and a good pair of 10' Knipex Cobra pliers. It did make one small burr, that was easily removed with a file. Then used a shallow threaded sleeve type jam nut, to cover the weird barrel step. Worked perfectly.

I got mine off with heat and channel locks. You’re going to mar it up a tad probably.

 

I don't know why, if you're going to put a funky shaped nut on something that will likely need to be removed, why wouldnt you provide a proper funky shaped wrench? I contacted teltec and they are supposed to be sending me a wrench or something to remove it. We'll see what shows up. Mine is probably canted a good 4 degrees or better.
