I also had a 1st gen. that was never dependable. Sent it back to factory, fluffed/buffed, hired a witch doctor, tried different ammo, everthing possible. Finally sold it to a dealer who thought he could fix it. Later got a 2nd gen. It has been dependable with certain ammo if kept reasonable clean. My opinion is the 2nd gen. extractor set up is much better. Accuracy was about the same with both. Glad yours is a goody.
