Went to the range today 8/21/17 with a friend. I have had two red dots on my KelTec Sub 2000 Gen. 2 with about 4-5 trips to the range.
I have vision problems. I really would like to use open sights. Today I did real good at 25 and 50 yards with the OEM sights. At our local range, the sun is almost always in your face which makes it hard to see. Some idiot set up the range east to west. So for the first half of the day the sun is in shooters faces.
I noticed my rear sight had a lot of sun glare in it.
What could I use to reduce the glare?.

Sometimes idiots are required to make "down range" a specific direction due to adjacent properties, permit requirements, or other concerns. Be happy that you don't squint using the range later in the day.

Never shoot without a brimmed hat & glasses. Ball caps work well if you use any type of ear muffs rather than plugs. Pick shooting glasses with a non-glare coating.
