Anyone have suggestions or info about adding rails to the side of the RDB? I would like to add a small section to mount my SureFire M951, but it looks like an offset rail mounted top the top or bottom rail is my only option.

Thought about the possibility of drilling out the hand guard to accommodate two screw holes for a short rail section. Has anyone done or considered doing this?

Any after market hand guards available yet?

Nothing after market out their just yet. But I plan on adding a piece of rail to the front side in order to mount a flashlight where I like it.

It should be no real problem to attach a rail to the forearm. The rail will be a little tilted in at the top from the shape of the forearm. The only thing to consider is what to do about the takedown pin in the forearm. It would be in the middle of the rail if you tried to install a full length rail on the forearm. You might have to drill an access hole for the pin in the rail. There is more than enough room inside the forearm for any nuts and washers.
