Problem with Pro-mag 10rd magazine with Fiocchi 73 grain ammo

Stay away from the pro-mag 10rd magazine if you're going to use Fiocchi 73 grain ammo in your P32 (recommended self defense round)

The mag is too small (front to back) for these rounds to feed properly! They get stuck, because the mag is not big enough! Kel-tec OEM mags work fine with these rounds.

I've contacted pro-mag and waiting to hear back from them.

“Stay away from the pro-mag”. I think you could have whittled down your post to this and been good to go. 😆

I learned the hard way to pretty much stay away from Pro-Mag. There are fixes for some which I may eventually get around to doing on 4 of my 7.62X39 mags. Maybe........

The thing I noticed here was the pro mag being too short front to back. Would perhaps JHP ammo run without rimlock?
The only Pro Mag that has never given me problems is the 15 round for the Taurus G3. Has been 100% always...and yet I will not carry it as it is only used for range use.
maybe its the mags. Maybe not... how long are the rounds that don't work? There are a few scattered reports on the web that this ammo is a hair too long for various guns.
I have to be very careful what ammo I use in my 44 mag; several of the heavier bullet weights stick out too far to fit in the magazine. I have 2 or 3 boxes of defense ammo that won't fit -- expensive lesson, but they at least work in the revolver...
I've put 200 of the Fiocchi 73 grainers thru my P32 without a hiccup
I've tossed a few Promags in the trash over the years but also have some Promags that run fine, like the ones for my Glock g44 or AK drum.
Most of the bad Promags were hicaps with weak springs.
Been tempted to try a Promag just for range use but not aware of any option for a stronger/longer .32acp single stack mag spring. And I don't run any short OAL .32, all my ,32acp is Fiocchi 73 gr.
