PR57 Owners Manual part 2

I don't have one of those, just a P17 which I love! I will say, I just emailed back and forth with KT this morning about the PR57 trigger/hammer system. She hasn't gotten back to me yet about all my concerns, but she did say not to dry fire the PR57. The more I look at the system, it does not look like the hammer remains cocked once a round is loaded in the chamber like a striker is cocked. The PR57 trigger still needs to be pulled which that cocks the hammer. So-o-o, my concern of wearing out the hammer spring does not seem like it is necessary. I hope KT confirms that with me eventually, but that looks to be the way it is. If so, I think that is great!!! I'm still concerned about the magazine spring, but she said at some point we'll be able to purchase certain parts. Hope this helps.
Now as for the spring fatigue concern...
It's my understanding that springs weaken over repeated cycling, not long term compression/tension. In other words, magazine springs (for example) don't weaken from being stored loaded, they weaken from use.
