What are you guys using to clean up/polish the mag tubes when installing the new followers? I'm getting together all the stuff I need to do all the add on's I have for my KSG and want to do everything at once while I have the whole gun apart.

Nothing you speak of such as the polishing of the mag tubes is required while changing out the factory mag followers, but a good cleaning of both the tubes and follower springs to remove any residual oil and debris from the manufacturing process is however highly recommended, followed by the application of a dry lubricant on the springs to help prevent dirt and debris from accumulating on them, before final assembly. Some use Loctite on the mag bolts, but it really isn't necessary IMHO.

My own tubes had some sort of semi thickened lube in them. Just a bore mop and some Hoppe's is all I used. You don't really need to polish them. They are park'd inside, and since the coating doesn't hinder operation (as it does in the chamber), leaving it there will prevent corrosion.... and those tubes are not something you'd clean all the time.

Just my 2c on it.
