Sorry acandykay... No such thing.  What may be perfect for me may not work for you at all.

I would suggest you use the search feature on this board for older threads on this same topic, and see what works for others.  Here is a post of mine from a recent thread:

Notice the first draw...   just the 3AT.. second draw the nemisis comes with it... the third draw... just the gun.   If I do not "pinch the gun with my left arm, the holster pulls with the gun.

(I just got the shirt and nemisis holster today...  so please ... easy on the criticism.  I am a sensitive guy you know.)

For $10 bucks the holster (outer of fuzzy part of velcor) , two velcor strap with a snap to hold over the gun,  and a hard loop covered piece.

They are detachable, and you can set the holster at any angle on the hard board.  (I am not using the strap.) I placed a few stiches in the holster so that a spare mag and the gun snug right in.

The tactical pouch set up also conceals better and the gun pulls without any trouble.  No need to pinch it under my arm to keep the holster form coming out with the gun.

A bonus... the velcro board and the holster can stick on a lot of surfaces, like the truck seat, and the visor to name a few.  I have yet to take and post photos of this, but for me it was a great buy at $10 even if you do not have 5.11 clothing.


My favorite at the time.  It fits perfect in the hidden pocket of my 5.11 shirts,  does not shift around, and does not bother me when sitting down.  Also, perfect for driving in the car.

I can't say this is the "perfect holster for a P-3AT", but this is why I like my Grandfather Oak Pocket Companion for my P-3AT with ArmaLaser.

I use the holster shirt by 5.11. When it comes to a pocket holster I carry the Pocket Pal. check out http://www.concealmentconceptsholster.com for the pocket pal. It is only 10 bucks and allows you to carry a spare mag. It keeps the weapon clean and free of lint and prevents contact with change, keys or other harmful objects. It also protects it from sweat. And it is made in the USA! Everybody has different needs so what is best for you will differ, but I say start with the $10.00 holster first before spending $60 on one.

I now use the De Santi Nemisis. I like the looks of the Palehorse Cookie Cutter. I have had my P3AT for about a year. It has approx. 900 rounds thru it and I have zero problems. My daddy always said "Don't fix it if it ain't broke." Thanks, glad to be here. Looks like a great forum.

I use an Elite Survival Systems pocket holster for my P-32, P3AT, & my PF-9.

I have found it to be the most comfortable, lightweight, and stable pocket holster so far. It is cool (breathable) in the summer and hides very effectively.

The "rubber-like" outer surface holds it still in the pocket on a draw, while the inside is made of soft smooth nylon to protect the guns finish.

I have tried Don Hume, and GO, which are both good holsters and cost more, but I keep coming back to the inexpensive ($12) Elite. Good luck.  8)

How does the shirt holster combo work as far as keeping the gun from shifting out of position?

With the 5.11 shirt and 5.11 velcor holster set up, the gun stays where I put it (unlimited angle/position choices) but the combo is a bit bulky.

I have thought of sewing a rouond patch of the velcro "loop" material on the inside of the pocket to hold the hoslter.

But back to the question... does your combo slip around, or does the gun stay put?

You have to look around, go to gun shops, and gun shows,Don't let some one talk you into getting what he likes.I was a Professional Horseman for 40 years ,so I like leather,you might like something else.But take your time.There nothing worth than having something you don't like in your pocket.Like I said, LOOK AROUND. 8)

How does the shirt holster combo work as far as keeping the gun from shifting out of position?

Nu_Agin, I am refering to the 5.11 holster t-shirt http://www.511tactical.com/index.asp?dlrID=511&dept=3&number=40011 . This is a muscle mapping shirt that has a compression fit so it stays very snug to the body. A thin weapon like the P3AT is very secure and I use the other side for my spare mag. They now come in black or white V neck or crew. I think that since everyone is built different their experience with this set up will be unique. The lats are large muscles and for some could move the gun around, but a pistol in your pocket moves with your hips and leg also.

The concept is basically a built in shoulder holster. As already mentioned we all have different tastes and needs. I am a fan of shoulder holsters and don’t like my pants weighted down. Guns in pockets can require large pockets to reach in and grab and are not accessible when seated. I often carry my Glock 22 in a Galco shoulder holster with a loose unbuttoned short sleeve overtop. When I must have a tucked in neat appearance , the holster shirt is an option I like. I’ve heard of folks who have their outer shirt opening made of Velcro, but for me, ripping off a few buttons to quickly access my gun will be the last of my worries if the need arises (besides my wife sews, although reluctantly)!

Lots of pocket holsters. I like Mika for my 642, but for the P3AT...there is only one I can abide...and that is K&D. This holster is better than the pistol! ;D
