Be careful guys and gals. Had a situation at the range last week where the PMR fired when I racked the slide. Yes, racked the slide to begin shooting and POW.

I then experienced a few double taps before I put the gun away.

Tested it again this weekend and was able to duplicate the problem, both while racking the slide and firing twice with one trigger pull.

The second round has a very, very light firing pin mark.

It just spent 8 weeks at the factory for FTF and I guess it will be March before I see it again (they are closed for two weeks now).

The website shows closed starting Dec 22, but it was not delivered today - FedEx shows business was closed already. Things are just not working out for me and this gun.

Most likely will be up for sale when it returns. As much as I love shooting the gun, I got a lemon.

could the firing pin might be acting as fixed firing pin in a open bolt gun?

PMR was returned quickly. Took it to the range today and put 60-70 rounds through it without a problem. Used Winchester 40g, CCI 30g and some A22 (CCI) 36 grain.

ZERO PROBLEMS!! First time and now the fun can really begin. The gun is a blast to shoot!

Very happy with the results! Plus, it will now MANUALLY extract a round and eject it (as it should contrary to some opinions).

Folks, if your having problems with your PMR, trust me and send it in. Explain your problem in detail and understand it will be awhile before you get it back. KelTec will make it right.

Now I'm back to loving my PMR (even more).
